Privacy Policy
What this site collects, what it does not, and how long anything is kept.
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you use pinzivo.com. It is written to be read rather than to be technically unassailable, and it is short because there genuinely is not much to describe.
The short version
There is no account system. We do not know who you are. We do not keep the files you download, and we do not build a record of what you saved.
Information you give us directly
The only way to hand us personal information is the contact form. It asks for your name, your email address and your message. Those are used to reply to you and nothing else. They are not added to a mailing list — there is no mailing list — and they are not shared with anyone.
Messages are kept while a conversation is ongoing and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up, then deleted.
The links you paste
When you paste a Pinterest URL into a tool, that URL is sent to our server so it can work out what the pin contains and where the file lives.
- The URL and the result may be cached briefly — on the order of minutes to hours — so that a popular pin does not have to be re-fetched from scratch for every visitor. This is a performance measure.
- The cache is not a log. It is keyed on the link itself, is not connected to you, and expires on its own.
- Pasted URLs are not retained long-term and are not compiled into any record of activity.
The files themselves
Downloaded media is not retained on our server. Files are streamed through to you, or you are handed a direct link to fetch them yourself, and nothing is written to permanent storage. There is no archive of downloaded content on this site, which is also why we cannot retrieve something for you after the fact.
Board downloads are the one case where an archive is assembled temporarily in order to be sent. It is discarded once the transfer completes.
Server logs
Like effectively every website, our host records standard access logs: IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user-agent. These exist for security and for diagnosing faults. They are retained for a short period by the host and then rotated out. We do not use them to profile visitors.
Analytics
This site currently runs no analytics software. Nothing tracks your visit beyond the standard server logs described above. If analytics are added later, this section and the Cookies Policy will be updated to name the tool before it is switched on.
Advertising
No advertising network is running on this site at present, and no advertising cookies are set.
Third parties
- Hostinger hosts the site and processes server logs on our behalf.
- Pinterest receives a request when a tool fetches a pin. That request comes from our server, not from your browser, so Pinterest does not see your IP address as a result of using a tool here.
- Contact Form 7 processes form submissions on our own server and sends them to our mailbox. Your message is not passed to a third-party form service.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be. Because there are no accounts, there is generally nothing else held about you to access, correct or export.
Depending on where you live you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or similar laws — including access, correction, erasure and objection. Use the contact page to exercise any of them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially the date at the top will change with it. Nothing here is applied retroactively to information already deleted.
